Sleep Number SleepIQ Kids
Nov. 09, 2015
Thanks to the fun website Smiley360, I got a chance to take my kids to visit a local Sleep Number store and try out the SleepIQ kids bed. Although I will receive sample products, all opinions are my own.
It made for a fun night to take my kids and go explore the Sleep Number store. Honestly, I had been inside a Sleep Number store before. My kids both climbed up on the SleepIQ kids bed on display. The associate was very patient, friendly and asked my kids questions about being comfortable in the bed. Both kids got to feel the bed at the sleep number 100 and then all of the way to 0.
The bed can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet. My oldest son's had a sleep number of 50 and my youngest had a sleep number of 40. Even if your kids aren't able to really decide which is the best setting for them you can review their sleeping patterns and make adjustments. While your kids are sleeping, if it doesn't seem they are getting restful sleep, you can adjust it while they are in bed. If the kids get up from bed during the night, a night light under the bed lights up so they can see where they are going.
The free app that is included with the purchase has useful tools that you can use to help get your kids ready for bed including brushing teeth. You can even look over the room to clean up any monsters. We eventually found a monster but we were able to clean it up.
There was a lot of data that you could record for your kids which I really found helpful. I think you could record homework time and soccer practice. The associate said the app would always be free which made me feel good.
After the kids were done exploring the SleepIQ Kids bed, I tested out a few myself. I took for granted how a good bed could make sleeping more restful and comfortable. I will definitely consider a Sleep Number bed for myself and my kids next time we are in the market to replace our current beds. Have you tried a Sleep Number bed? Have your tried the SleepIQ Kids bed? Have a HOPtastic day!!
