Kids Club Move Night at The Kansas City Chief's Arrowhead stadium
Jun. 27, 2014
A few years ago I signed up my boys to be a part of the Kansas City Chiefs Kids Club. They occasionally received pictures and post cards on their birthday. Last night, we had the chance to attend the Kansas City Chiefs Kids Club first movie night at Arrowhead. Between the movie Frozen and The Lego Movie, The Lego Movie won the vote for movie to be shown which is great because that is the movie I voted to see.
The evening included fun and games and even a tour of the lockroom. We brought bottled water from home so we saved the cost of buying drinks at the stadium but we get some great food which we totally enjoyed. We began the movie sitting in the stands but then moved to sit on the field. The kids had more room to run around as sitting still was no longer an option.
Some one asked if the boys were more excited that I was. I have to say as I am huge Kansas City Chiefs fan that I was more excited than they were. It was really a great night. And it was free which Frugal Froggie liked. Fun family nights are exactly what you need to bring you back to why your created your wonderful family. While we were driving away, I was trying to not get all choked up as I was so happy with having such a great family evening. No meltdowns and no temper tantrums. I could not have asked for a better night.
You don't have to spend a lot of money to have a great night as a family. Clipping a few coupons and other frugal living tips can help you have a splurge out with your family. Totally worth it in my opinion. Have a HOPtastic day!!
